My Failed New Year Goals

Are you one of those people who sets new (or old) goals/resolutions at the beginning of each year? I certainly am! Most of my past goals have revolved around getting more exercise, taking time to write¬† consistently, spending less time in front of a screen, and being more adventurous. Most of the time, these goals are lofty, meaning I want to go from 0% to 100% immediately. There is no build up to reaching that final goal. What I found myself doing after the first few weeks in January is coming up with excuses – it’s too hard, my knees hurt, I already walked the dog so I’m tired. Frankly, I was just very lazy.

Revisiting Last Year’s Goals

It’s been one year since I wrote this post on my birthday. This year went by really fast, don’t you think? I can’t believe I will be 29 tomorrow! Last year, I made a list of things I hoped to accomplish. So how have I done? Let me take you through my journey, the successes I have had, the failures, the things I didn’t attempt. Perhaps I will have new goals for this upcoming year.

28th Birthday & Goals

I turned 28 this month, I am inching closer to 30 but I am not worried. I love birthdays and I look forward to getting older.  I wanted to do something different for this entry since many of the posts on Nepali Chori have been deep. I decided to write something lighter. For this 28th year, I want to accomplish a few goals and be serious about them. So here it goes:
